Position: RN Supervisor – Long-Term Care (LTC)
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
Schedule: 36 hours/week
Unit Details:
- Facility Capacity: 120 residents
- Supervision Scope: 10–15 staff members per shift (varies with shift changes)
- Role: Responsible for the clinical supervision of the entire building during assigned shifts
Requirements:
- Active NY RN license – Required
- CPR Certification – Required
- Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical or Gerontology nursing experience – Preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight to nursing and support staff across all units
- Ensure quality care, adherence to policies, and patient safety throughout the facility
- Effectively manage staffing, emergencies, and escalations during overnight hours
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Uphold regulatory standards and promote a positive, supportive environment for staff and residents
