Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Technician to support a 24/7 semiconductor fabrication operation on Front End Nights. This role is ideal for technicians who excel in high-reliability, precision manufacturing environments and are comfortable working independently while supporting advanced, automated equipment.


As a key technical resource on night shift, you will partner closely with process engineers and operations teams to diagnose complex equipment issues, execute maintenance activities, and drive sustained tool uptime and process stability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced electro-mechanical troubleshooting on semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • Execute corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance with minimal supervision
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble complex equipment using OEM manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Utilize diagnostic and test equipment to verify performance and identify failure trends
  • Collaborate with process engineering to understand equipment-process interactions and operating limits
  • Modify or adjust equipment to improve uptime, reliability, and overall performance
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices across shifts
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and follow established SOPs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management


Required Qualifications

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Electronics Technology or equivalent military electronics training
  • 3+ years of equipment maintenance experience in manufacturing or high-reliability environments
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical instructions, schematics, blueprints, and manuals
  • Demonstrated electro-mechanical troubleshooting expertise
  • Ability to work independently on 12-hour night shifts in a 24/7 operation


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior semiconductor fabrication or cleanroom manufacturing experience
  • Experience supporting complex, automated, or highly specialized manufacturing equipment
  • Background in high-reliability or regulated production environments
  • Experience as a senior technician, tool owner, or technical lead
  • Strong collaboration experience with process engineering teams
