Self-Direction DSP - Syracuse Area (Job #LB-LN)

ARISE/Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Syracuse area with an individual who requires assistance. The individual is looking for a dedicated staff to provide support and assist maintaining independence both at home and in community settings. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with supports during classroom participation, light housekeeping, meal planning and general independence.

We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient, and enthusiastic. Prior experience a plus, but no required. Reliable transportation and a HS diploma/GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.

Work hours will depend on classroom schedule, but normally Monday through Friday, 10 am - 2 pm. Flexibility to fill-in for other staff a plus. The pay rate is $20 per hour.
