The Credentialing Specialist will coordinate allprovider credentialing activities to ensure compliance with organizationalstandards and timely participation within the healthcare network. This rolerequires maintaining accuracy and efficiency in credentialing andre-credentialing processes, managing confidential provider information, andsupporting credentialing committee operations.

Compensation: $24 - $28Per Hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the provider credentialing and re-credentialing process to ensure deadlines are met efficiently.
• Investigate and resolve credentialing and enrollment delays or issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date demographic information and credentialing databases.
• Handle confidential information related to internal staff, including Physicians and Nurse Practitioners, with discretion.
• Prepare and organize documentation for Credentialing Committee review.
• Maintain logs, records, and documentation to meet credentialing requirements and ensure timely renewals.
• Generate productivity and issue reports for management review.
• Stay current with industry policies, standards, and regulations related to provider credentialing and enrollment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in provider credentialing.
• Experience with credentialing in a health plan setting preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
