Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join the specialized imaging team at a premier academic medical center. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical expertise in interventional procedures and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment.

- Work Schedule:
- Full-time position
- Days
- 40 hours per week
- Specific days/hours to be determined
- Will be required to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.

Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or related field.
- Licensure/Certification: New York State License, Registration, or Eligible; Current CPR certification; Registration certification for Contrast Injection required. ARRT certification must be obtained within one year of appointment.
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive technical experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in interventional radiology equipment operation and imaging procedures.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex interventional radiology procedures under physician direction
- Operate and maintain specialized interventional imaging equipment
- Prepare and administer contrast media according to established protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and status during procedures
- Maintain sterile field and assist with invasive procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
