CNC Laser Operator - Sheet Metal Cutting with Mazak Laser

Overview We're hiring a Laser Operator to run a Mazak Laser cutting machine and help keep production flowing at a busy manufacturing facility. This role involves loading large sheets of steel, monitoring the machine, and making sure cut parts are removed, sorted, and ready for the next step. It's a hands-on job for someone who likes to stay busy and takes pride in precision.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate the Mazak Laser machine to cut sheet steel according to specifications
• Physically handle and load large metal sheets onto the machine
• Unload, sort, and stack finished parts safely and correctly
• Keep the work area organized and equipment running smoothly
• Work independently and take initiative between machine cycles
• Perform routine checks and minor maintenance on the machine
• Communicate with team members and follow production priorities

About You

• Experience operating a CNC laser (Mazak experience is a big plus)
• Comfortable working with large, heavy sheets of steel
• Reliable, self-motivated, and not someone who stands around
• Able to read work orders and follow instructions precisely
• Physically able to do a job that requires standing, lifting, bending, and moving materials throughout the shift
• Strong work ethic and good attention to detail
