Compensation

Base Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 (based on experience)

One-third of collected revenue on billed hours

20% bonus for introducing new clients

Responsibilities

Draft and argue motions in state and federal court

Conduct discovery, depositions, and motion practice

Prepare pleadings and legal briefs

Support trial preparation alongside senior attorneys

Manage litigation cases from intake through resolution

Collaborate directly with clients on case strategy
Must-have qualifications

JD and active admission to the New York Bar
-
2-4 years of litigation experience (real estate preferred)

Proficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, and conducting legal research

Strong courtroom presence and oral advocacy skills
-
Excellent writing, research, and analytical abilities
Preferred qualifications

Real estate litigation experience: landlord-tenant, co-op/condo, title, or commercial disputes

Trial exposure or trial preparation experience

Background in a boutique or trial-focused litigation firm

Experience with appellate briefing or motion practice
