Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU/PCU) – New York

Start Date: March 16, 2026
Location: Upstate New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Highlights:

• 64-bed Intermediate Care Unit with diverse patient population including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory, and post-operative cases
• 15 dedicated neuro beds within the unit
• Experience with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and chronic ventilators
• EPIC EMR system utilized throughout facility
• Common diagnoses include MI, CVA stepdown, COPD exacerbation, DKA, sepsis, and post-surgical patients
• Respiratory therapy support available for ventilator management

Requirements:

• Active New York State RN license required
• Minimum 2+ years of recent IMCU/PCU or Progressive Care Unit experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
