Associate Attorney - Litigation

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of commercial and civil litigation cases, providing support in all phases of litigation from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing a diverse caseload of commercial and civil litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Participate in discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and conducting depositions.
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings and trials, representing clients effectively.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys in case strategy development and resolution proceedings.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar License in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • 5+ years of experience in litigation, preferably in commercial and civil cases.
  • Strong understanding of courtroom procedures and experience with trial preparation.
  • Excellent legal writing and research skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
