Job Description:
Direct Counsel is seeking a Mid-Level Employment Litigation Associate to join a leading international law firm’s New York office. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigator with strong credentials and a focus on high-stakes employment matters.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support litigation matters involving employment law, including single-plaintiff and complex disputes

Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents

Take and defend depositions

Support clients on a broad range of employment-related litigation issues, including wage and hour, trade secrets, discrimination, and class actions

Contribute to legal strategy and case management in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of substantial litigation experience; employment litigation experience strongly preferred

Trade secret, pay equity, or class action experience a plus

Excellent academic credentials

Law firm experience required

Must be admitted and in good standing with the New York State Bar
Compensation:
The anticipated annual salary range for this role is between $310,000 and $390,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
