About the Role:
The Residential Electrical Foreman plays a critical leadership role in overseeing and coordinating all electrical installation on high end residential construction sites to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This position requires managing teams of electricians ensuring compliance with construction safety standards. The Foreman will collaborate closely with project managers and other trades to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve any on-site issues promptly. A key outcome of this role is to deliver high-quality electrical installations that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements. Ultimately, the Residential Electrical Foreman ensures that all aspects of the electrical work contribute to the successful completion of residential building projects while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical work preferred.
- 5+ years' experience as an electrician or a foreman in a supervisory role within high end residential construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Valid Site Safety Certification (SST) and 30-Hour OSHA.
- Willing to Work Overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily electrical work on residential construction sites.
- Manage and lead a team of electricians ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to estimate project timelines, resource needs, and costs related to electrical work.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with construction safety regulations and project specifications.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices in construction management and safety.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address project progress and challenges.
