Schedule: Flexible, 2-5 days/week (Mon-Fri, no weekends)
Compensation: $750-$950 per day (base + bonus)
Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time, or Contract
About the Role:
A well-established eye care group is seeking motivated and compassionate Optometrists to provide on-site vision care services at partnered nursing homes across New York. This is a flexible, travel-based position offering competitive daily pay, bonuses, and full administrative support-allowing you to focus entirely on patient care.
Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive eye exams for nursing home residents

Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and conditions

Coordinate with facility staff to ensure quality patient care

Maintain accurate patient documentation and reports
Qualifications:

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
-
Active New York Optometry license (required)

Experience with geriatric populations preferred (new grads welcome)

Must have reliable transportation
