Candidate Profile
JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing
Admission to practice in New Jersey and/or Connecticut is a plus
5+ years of substantive employment litigation experience
Management-side representation of private sector employers, with proven ability to handle complex employment matters
Experience litigating before federal and state courts, arbitrations, and administrative agencies
Demonstrated skills in fact investigation, discovery management (including substantial ESI productions), depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
Strong written and oral advocacy skills, including drafting dispositive motions and discovery-related motions
Proven ability to manage a portfolio of active cases while maintaining exceptional client service
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in employment-related litigation before federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration panels
Lead discovery efforts, including substantial ESI production and management of complex case files
Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and participate in hearings and trials
Draft, oppose, and argue motions, including dispositive and discovery-related motions
Collaborate with partners and clients to shape litigation strategy and drive case outcomes
Provide exceptional client service through effective communication and tailored legal solutions
Work collaboratively with colleagues in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment three or more days per week physically present in New York office.
