Certified Surgical Technologist (OR CST)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Hours: 40 hrs/week
Shift: 8-Hour Days | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Requirements:
- Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist – Required
- Travel Experience: Required
- Experience:
- Orthopedic cases – Required
- Scrubbing experience – Required
- Da Vinci robot – Required
- May be required to precept new staff
- BLS Certification – Required
- Must arrive within 30 minutes of being called in
- Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program or valid NY LPN license
Responsibilities:
- Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments
- Ensure proper disinfection and sterilization of equipment
- Handle instruments and supplies with precision and efficiency
- Respond quickly and appropriately in emergent surgical situations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized OR environment
- Support departmental tasks as assigned
