Position Overview:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients in a state-of-the-art facility. You’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating advanced imaging equipment, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners.
- Work closely with physicians to interpret images and assist in diagnosing a variety of conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient interactions in accordance with all healthcare standards.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications:
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license issued by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).
- At least one year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, including acute care experience.
- Strong understanding of nuclear imaging procedures and radiation safety protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with patients and medical staff.
