Job Title: Teacher Assistant in Early Intervention Facility
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Teacher Assistant to join our team at our Early Intervention Facility. As a Teacher Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the lead teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children with developmental delays and disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for children with developmental delays and disabilities.
- Provide one-on-one support to children who require additional assistance.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of classroom materials and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding their child's progress and needs.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Experience working with children with developmental delays and disabilities preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with lead teacher and other staff members.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Must pass a background check and obtain required clearances.
