Job DescriptionStaff Up is Hiring: Baker – Albany, NY 12222Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Fridays & Saturdays Off)Job OverviewThe Baker prepares baked goods according to recipes and production specifications. The general responsibilities of the position are listed below, but may vary depending on business needs and client requirements.General Responsibilities
- Follow recipes and product directions to prepare baked items from scratch, such as breads, rolls, muffins, and biscuits
- Place products into properly prepared pans
- Regulate oven drafts and temperatures for consistent baking results
- Place items in ovens, monitor baking, and remove finished products
- Apply toppings, glazes, or finishes as required
- Follow all applicable food safety and regulatory guidelines
- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment as needed
- Maintain food sanitation standards in both preparation and work environment
- Comply with all HACCP policies and procedures
- Attend required training on food safety, allergens, and foodborne illness prevention
- Participate in designated training programs (classroom or virtual)
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job QualificationsEducation/Experience
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 0–1+ years of related baking or food service experience preferred
