Seeking experienced Interior Designer responsible for coordination and implementation of all phases of design from concept through construction and installation. Client base is primarily mid-high level residential with potential for some commercial/hospitality projects. High profile well established firm with collaborative, creative and team oriented culture.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Direct oversight of multiple projects and participating in the collaboration of creative direction
• Design Development, Schematic and additional phases of design projects
• Research market and custom options
• Utilize showroom locally, nationally and internationally
• Produce furniture layouts
• Develop and maintain budgets and schedules
• Prepare CAD drawings and specs for custom furniture design and millwork
• Coordinating pricing on design projects
• Meet with clients as needed
• Oversee construction and installation of materials onsite
• Assisting in all aspects of projects and organization

Qualifications and Skills

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years working in interior design
• Degree in Interior Design
• Strong conceptual design and design development skills
• Strong Drafting Skills, Proficiency in AutoCAD a must
• Knowledge of 3-D rendering programs such as 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Chief Architect and Illustrator STRONGLY preferred;
• Commitment to delivering high end customer experience
• Motivated and proactive with the ability to work in a high paced environment and manage multiple projects
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• US Citizen or have a current work visa for work in the US.
• Travel to various tri-state area locations
