Insero Talent Solutions has been retained by a rapidly growing C&I contractor based in Rochester, NY to recruit an Electrical Project Manager in Albany, NY.

Servicing the entire state of New York with offices in Albany, Schenectady, and Syracuse.
Position Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing electrical project planning, schedule development, gross profits, cash flow, timeline management, project buyout and startup, budget management, and project close out.
Responsibilities:
- Increasing percentage of gross profit schedule from original estimate by controlling hours to driven production.
- Providing monthly projections and publishing to WIP report.
- Creating comprehensive project plans, including milestones and accountabilities.
- Creating and monitoring project schedules, prioritizing and sequencing timeframes associated with changing elements of a project.
- Reviewing plans, specifications, and contract and comprehending all aspects of a project.
- Creating a schedule of values that considers all projects' costs, margins, terms of payment.
- Planning and purchasing any necessary material buys, including package PO's.
- Facilitating gathering submittals and distributing to Project Coordinator for submission.
- Planning and executing subcontracts, including MWBE requirements, rentals, or equipment needs for life of the project.
- Projecting revenue is increased by identifying changes to projects scope of work and capitalizing on changes.
- Managing change orders.
- Maintaining high safety standards and results for the life cycle of projects.
- Overseeing the completion of O&M submission, as-builts, punch lists, test reports, and other job specific closeout documents.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a field electrician or foreman.
- 3+ years of electrical project management experience and demonstrated computer skills.
- Strong planning, leadership, and team building skills.
- Self-starting, proactive, and collaborative.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
