Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys with various legal tasks, focusing on transactional and corporate matters, including commercial real estate and lending transactions. This position is essential for supporting our legal operations and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents and contracts related to transactional matters.
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Organize and maintain case files, documentation, and records related to corporate transactions.
- Review and summarize contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and other parties to facilitate transactions and gather necessary information.
- Assist in the due diligence process for commercial lending and real estate transactions.
- Prepare closing documents and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure successful transaction completion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience as a Paralegal, preferably in transactional or corporate law.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions and corporate law principles.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
