Job Title: Medical Doctor (MD)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Doctor (MD) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating illnesses, providing preventive care, managing chronic diseases, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in a relevant specialty.
- Board Certification
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of New York State Medical License.
- Current DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications (as required).
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMRs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient examinations, review medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Diagnose medical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and other interventions based on clinical judgment and current best practices.
- Perform minor procedures and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Provide patient education and counseling on disease prevention, lifestyle changes, and treatment adherence.
- Monitor patients’ progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Comply with medical ethics, legal standards, and hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in continuing medical education (CME) and professional development activities.
