Job Description
Salary Range: $95,000 - $116,000
- Responsible for customer & internal quality issue fast response.
- Complete analysis of customer part returns or internal non-conformances to determine root cause.
- Documents, tracks, facilitates, and completes customer or internal corrective actions with cross-functional team.
- Supports customer visit / audits.
- Supports the quality laboratory with customer or internal non-conforming product containment and sorting activities.
- Is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of customer and/or internal quality performance indicators.
- Works with Supplier Quality on external sourced non-conformities.
- Works directly with both management and employee level on continual improvements of our quality system.
- Attend daily Operations Meeting as an integral member in communicating status of customer or internal complaints.
- Document Control / Development; Procedures, Instructions, Work Instructions, etc.
- Prepare graphs or charts of data as needed in support of continuous improvement.
- Prepare special quality documentation / reports (i.e. MMOG, SCR’s, ECR’s, Quality System Assessments).
- Supports in APQP activity to ensure successful new product launches.
- Supports to ensure compliance to IATF-16949 & ISO 14001.
- Conducts internal audits.
- Procedural review and improvements.
- Drives initiatives to foster a zero-defect culture in the plant
- Supports PPE in PFMEA audits (reverse, high RPN)
- Participates in Scrap reduction improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a minimum of 10 years’ equivalent experience required
- Proficiency in 8D problem solving, 5 Why Analysis
- AIAG Core Tool Training (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC)
- The ability to read / interpret blueprints and specifications including GD&T
- Knowledge of IATF16949 & ISO14001 Standards.
- Excellent communication and follow-through skills and attention to detail
- Able to collaborate effectively across departmental functions
- Proven ability to promote transparency and effective reporting methods for audiences ranging from the “shop-floor" to the management & customer level
- High integrity, fair, emotionally mature, self-aware
- Active listener, coach mentality, able to constructively challenge
Additional Information
Ability to travel between Oetiker locations as applicable.
This is a 1st shift position. Regular hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Monday - Friday
