Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school environment serving students aged 12-21. This leave contract position offers 25-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., starting March 1, 2026, through June 1, 2026.
Responsibilities include providing IEP-mandated speech and language services tailored to students needs in compliance with state and federal guidelines. The role requires a focus on delivering direct and indirect support to help students improve communication skills critical for academic and social success.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Active New York State Speech Language Pathology license and teaching certification
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Experience working in school settings with students aged 12-21
- Ability to provide teletherapy services is a plus, along with familiarity with CFY and CCC credentials
