Patient Liaison / Advocate

$23-$27 hourly
Several options for shifts - 1. Sunday 8-6 M-TH 12-8 / 2. M-TH 12-8 Friday 8-2:30 3. M-TH 7:45-2 Friday 7:45-2:30
Position Summary:
We are seeking a professional and compassionate Patient Liaison / Advocate to be the first point of contact for patients — both in person and by phone. This individual will ensure a smooth and positive experience at every stage of the patient’s interaction, including appointment scheduling, check-in/out, and general support.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients in a warm and courteous manner

Guide patients through the check-in and check-out process

Answer phone calls with professionalism and address inquiries effectively

Schedule appointments and follow-ups accurately and efficiently

Verify insurance eligibility and secure referrals or authorizations as needed

Collect and process co-payments and applicable fees

Identify patient needs, provide clear information, and resolve issues or escalate as appropriate

Enter and update patient demographic information in the EMR system

Stay up to date on services, procedures, and associated rates

Meet qualitative and quantitative performance targets

Contribute to a positive, compliant, and team-based work environment

Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting

Patient-focused with a commitment to excellent service

Experience in medical office, call center, or customer service preferred

Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus
