- Location: Brooklyn, NY (Clinton Hill & Wall St. offices)
- Schedule: Hybrid – minimum 3 days in-office per week

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Attorney to join our growing estate planning and administration practice. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, self-driven professional who excels in both technical legal work and client relationship management. The role involves a blend of sophisticated estate planning, probate administration, and direct client interaction, with flexibility built into a hybrid work structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage probate and trust administration matters, including client communication, preparation of probate petitions, inventories, accountings, and court filings.
- Draft comprehensive estate planning documents such as Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Healthcare Directives, ILITs, SLATs, and gifting trusts.
- Conduct client meetings to design, review, and execute estate plans while guiding clients through every step of the process.
- Oversee trust funding activities, including preparing deeds, beneficiary designations, and account transfer forms.
- Coordinate with financial institutions, investment companies, and banks to facilitate smooth asset transfers and trust funding.
- Manage execution and notarization of documents with accuracy and professionalism.
- Maintain organized client files and contribute to workflow improvements to enhance team efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Trusts & Estates, including probate, estate administration, and drafting.
- Leadership or team management experience preferred.
- Exceptional drafting, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
- Comfortable working directly with clients in a respectful, empathetic, and professional manner.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software.
