Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of medical office procedures, billing, and staff management. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office, supporting our staff, and maintaining a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Staff Management & Leadership:

Supervise and mentor all administrative and clinical staff.

Conduct staff meetings and performance reviews.

Manage staff schedules, payroll, and time-off requests.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Administrative & Operational Oversight:

Oversee day-to-day office operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and record management.

Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA).

Manage office supplies, equipment, and facility maintenance.

Implement and optimize office policies and procedures to improve efficiency.

Financial & Billing:

Oversee patient billing, coding, and collections.

Liaise with insurance companies to resolve billing disputes.

Manage the office budget, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Patient & Customer Service:

Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and care.

Ensure a high standard of patient service is maintained by all staff.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall patient experience.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Office Manager or in a similar supervisory role within a medical office setting.

Strong understanding of medical billing, coding, and insurance processes.

Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.

Proficiency in medical office software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is a plus.
Physical Requirements:

Primarily a sedentary role, but may require occasional standing, walking, and lifting of office supplies (up to 20 lbs).
