Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Pay Range: $30 - $42/hr (based on experience)

Our client is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join their growing team in Poughkeepsie. This is a full-time, on-site position with a well-established company, offering a hands-on opportunity to work with production and facility equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is the chance to work with an established company to boost your skill set and contribute to a successful team! They are looking for someone ideally well rounded with Electrical and Mechanical Skills with production equipment, mostly conveyor systems. Some facilities maintenance experience will be a plus too as they will look to you to help with minor electrical and plumbing issues if and when they arise.

Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems and other production machinery
• Assist with basic facility maintenance tasks, including electrical and plumbing repairs
• Conduct machine safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Set up machinery for production runs; perform manual machining as needed
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance and repair activities
• Collaborate with other team members to improve equipment efficiency and facility operations
• Support plant construction and layout modifications when necessary

Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• Strong background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance
• Previous experience working with conveyor systems
• Familiarity with plumbing, minor electrical work, and general facility upkeep is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and reaching
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
