Location: Malone, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays as needed
Pay Rate: $18 – $22/hr (Hourly)

Position Summary
Promotive is hiring a dependable and self-motivated Mobile Automotive Technician for a busy, high-volume shop in Malone, NY. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role (with occasional Saturdays) focused on light-duty work, recalls, and multipoint inspections. If you're a high C-level technician who enjoys working independently and values training, this is an excellent opportunity to grow with a team-first shop that invests in your development.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair domestic and light-duty diesel vehicles (Ford F-250 and up)

Perform LOFs, multipoint inspections, and manufacturer updates/recalls

Travel between shop and customer/fleet locations as needed

Operate independently with minimal supervision

Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned work

Maintain professionalism with customers and co-workers

Follow safety guidelines and uphold quality standards
Requirements

3+ years of automotive experience (B level tech or higher)

Strong work ethic and ability to operate independently

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Willingness to complete NY State Inspection License ASAP upon hire

Basic scan tool experience (Snap-On, IDS, ShopKey, etc.) preferred

Background check and drug screen required
Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay: $18–$22/hr depending on experience

Annual Earning Potential: ~$45,000+
