LHH is working with a leading real estate firm in NYC and we are looking for an experienced Property Accountant who can start a new temp to hire position immediately. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial property accounting, with hands-on expertise using Yardi software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of residential and commercial properties.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

  • Reconcile bank accounts, tenant ledgers, and general ledger accounts.

  • Review accounts payable and receivable, including rent collections and vendor payments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

  • 2+ years of property accounting experience in both residential and commercial real estate.

  • Proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and real estate accounting principles.



Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
