Summary
Provide nurturing care and education to infants, focusing on their developmental needs in a safe and stimulating environment.
Duties
- Foster a learning environment that stimulates child growth and development
- Ensure a clean and healthy classroom atmosphere
- Adhere to individualized infant schedules (ex: feeding, diapering)
- Complete student observations, assessments, and daily documentation.
- Attend regularly scheduled professional development and staff training sessions
Requirements
- CDA certification in Infant Toddler orAssociate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or NYS Certification (Birth through Grade 2)
- 2 years of working experience in childcare, including at least 1 year in a lead teacher role.
