Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:30pm (4×10-hour shifts) with occasional weekend and on-call coverage

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Interventional Radiology (IR) team in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing radiological procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to procedural protocols.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation in accordance with protocols.
• Maintain 1:1 RN care for Phase 1 recovery patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiology technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize Epic for patient documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation and occasional weekend shifts as scheduled.
• Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines.

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; NIR experience preferred.
• RN License of NY State
• AHA - BLS
• Proficient in Epic or similar EMR systems.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
