Join a dynamic interventional radiology nursing team within a level 1 trauma center known for delivering exceptional inpatient and outpatient care across all age groups. This role offers the chance to contribute to a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment specializing in pre-procedural preparation, post-procedural recovery, and overnight observation for interventional radiology patients. Your ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively will ensure high-quality patient outcomes in diagnostic imaging services such as CT scans, MRIs, nuclear medicine, X-rays, and ultrasounds.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures and provide comprehensive post-procedural care
- Monitor and observe patients for up to 23 hours, including overnight stays
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated and effective patient care
- Provide care primarily in diagnostic imaging environments, including CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, X-ray, and ultrasound
- Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and respond to patient needs promptly and accurately
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience in interventional radiology
- Telemetry experience required
- Current New York RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
- Preferred: Medical/surgical background and experience with GI post-procedural care
