We are seeking a physician’s assistant to join our dual endocrinology and longevity practices under the direct supervision of the physician. The ideal candidate is someone who is excited to grow our start-up longevity practice with resilience, adaptability, flexibility, resourcefulness and ownership.

Responsibilities:
- Preparing charts for the day.
- Rooming patients, taking an HPI, vitals and a basic physical examination.
- Presenting cases to the physician in a concise and clear way to ensure the patient has a productive and efficient visit with the physician.
- Placing lab orders and writing prescriptions for the physician’s review.
- Drawing blood and preparing lab samples accurately as directed by the physician for the longevity patients.
- Placing continuous glucose monitors on patients.
- Reviewing glucose monitor data and food diary with patients on subsequent visits, as well as providing nutritional counseling.
- Clearly and patiently explaining the physician's instructions to the patients (i.e. taking medication, timing of labs and radiology tests).
- Reviewing results with patients under the physician's guidance.
- Documenting resolutions to patient clinical questions and concerns.
- Working hand in hand with the physician and longevity patients by taking detailed histories and preparing detailed reports on results.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of EMRs
- Physician Assistant certification and license from an ARC-PA accredited program,
- Clear communicator.
- Ability to work under the direct supervision and direction of the practice physician.
- Reliable and punctual.
