Position Overview:
Join a dynamic Acute Care/Academic Medical Center in Syracuse as a Critical Care Registered Nurse. Deliver high-level care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced skills and technology to support critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Monitor and interpret complex patient data and vital signs.
- Operate and manage specialized critical care equipment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and the healthcare team.
- Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in EPIC.
- Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies.
- Educate patients and families.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN).
- Licensure: Active New York State RN License; Current BLS & PALS certifications (ACLS preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent Critical Care experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center.
- Technical Skills: Strong EMR experience (EPIC proficiency essential).
- Soft Skills: Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
