Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg ICU
Location: Bronx, NY
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Compensation: $2,656 per week (Travel Rate)
Position Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 14-week assignment in a Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a leading acute care hospital in Bronx, NY. This position requires strong clinical expertise in managing high-acuity medical and post-operative patients within a fast-paced critical care setting.
Experience in PCU/Step-Down, MICU, or CCU environments is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care to critically ill medical-surgical ICU patients

Initiate and manage IV lines, perform phlebotomy, and assist with conscious sedation procedures

Monitor cardiac telemetry and administer vasoactive drips and other critical infusions

Identify and respond promptly to hemodynamic instability and emergency situations

Collaborate with intensivists and interdisciplinary teams on ventilator management and weaning protocols

Ensure accurate, timely documentation and adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience

Minimum 2+ years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience

Minimum 2+ years of conscious sedation experience

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program

Active New York RN License (Primary Source Verification required)

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
