Position: RN-ER-Emergency Department (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in the ER.

• Collaborate with medical team to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.

• Monitor and assess patient conditions regularly.

• Strive to meet and exceed performance targets and goals.

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

• Communicate effectively with patients and their families.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

• Utilize medical equipment and technology effectively.

• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.

• Participate in emergency response drills and preparedness activities.

• Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.

Experience/Qualifications

• Hold a valid RN license in New York State.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency department nursing.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

• Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.

• Strong communication skills with patients and medical team.

• Experience in developing and implementing patient care plans.

• Proven track record of meeting performance targets.

• Proficient in using electronic health records systems.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Knowledge of hospital policies and emergency procedures.
