Overview:
We are in the process of setting up a new showroom in our Manhattan, NYC office to display our products. To support this initiative, we are seeking a dependable and proactive Temporary Office Assistant to assist with operational and setup tasks during the showroom installation phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Receive, inspect, and manage incoming deliveries, including furniture and product samples.
- - Assemble and arrange furniture and display units; basic carpentry skills are highly preferred.
- - Handle light labor tasks such as unpacking, moving, and positioning office and showroom furniture and equipment.
- - Assist with room setup and configuration to create an inviting and professional showroom environment.
- - Support during vendor visits or walkthroughs, ensuring the space is presentable for meetings and management visits.
- - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace throughout the setup process.
Candidate Requirements:
- - Basic repair, and fixing skills are highly desirable.
- - Ability to assemble and arrange furniture and display units.
- - Strong physical stamina for lifting and moving furniture and equipment.
- - Flexible, dependable, and hands-on approach to physical setup and coordination.
- - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- - Professional attitude and good communication skills.
Duration: 3 weeks (with potential for permanent placement)
Hours: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
