Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting located in Utica, NY. This is a contract role offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills within an educational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary assessments as needed

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
  • Ability to design effective intervention strategies for diverse student populations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
