Job Overview
is seeking a Facilities Manager (FM) to support a high-profile tech client across multiple sites in the Northeast region. The FM will primarily work on-site at two key locations in New York City—Times Square and Union Square—and is expected to maintain consistent visibility to ensure smooth operations and a high standard of workplace experience.
The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between and the client, balancing contractual obligations with client expectations to deliver practical and mutually beneficial solutions. This position requires a strong operational leader with proven experience in multi-site facilities management, budget oversight, and client-facing service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership and coordination of facility operations across two NYC sites
- Ensure facilities are clean, safe, and presentable, with a focus on reception and employee-facing areas
- Manage a team including 1 Assistant FM and multiple Facilities Coordinators; coordinate with Workplace Experience team members
- Partner with landlords and vendors to ensure maintenance and service standards are met
- Maintain financial oversight including reviewing invoices, purchase orders, accruals, and variance reports
- Prepare and deliver Monthly Operating Reports
- Serve as primary point of contact for client needs and expectations; manage communications via Slack, Teams, Zoom, Outlook
- Handle procurement activities including creation and tracking of POs
- Ensure compliance with and client-specific processes, policies, and service-level agreements
- Participate in performance management including team check-ins, performance evaluations, and corrective actions
- Support onboarding and development of team members; foster a connected and accountable work culture
Required Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience in facilities management with direct reports
- Experience managing multi-site operations
- Proven financial acumen—experience preparing and managing annual and quarterly budgets
- Excellent soft skills and client-facing experience in a white-glove or high-touch environment
- Ability to adapt quickly, reprioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, Slack, Zoom, Outlook
- Familiar with CMMS/work order systems
- Ability to read and interpret contracts, lease agreements, and service level expectations
- Hands-on management style and responsiveness to client and team needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with
- Technical knowledge in HVAC systems
- Experience working with landlords or in property management
- Training or certification in IFMA FMP, RPA, or related commercial facility coursework
- Ability to assess current team performance and drive weekly alignment and improvements
