Compensation

  • Base Salary: Between $76,500 and $179,000, based on candidate experience and qualifications

Position Summary

A leading law firm is actively recruiting an experienced Corporate Paralegal for its New York office. The role involves providing advanced paralegal support on complex corporate legal matters, especially in relation to transactions, compliance, and governance. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a top-tier legal setting and be equipped to handle fast-paced, detail-heavy assignments with professionalism and clarity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and maintain corporate governance records and other internal documentation

  • Provide support throughout corporate transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations

  • Conduct legal research related to compliance and regulatory matters

  • Manage filings and help ensure the company meets all corporate governance obligations

  • Coordinate with attorneys and other internal stakeholders across departments

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of recent experience in a corporate paralegal role at a major law firm

  • Solid experience working on corporate transactions, financial structuring, and governance matters

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or formal paralegal certification

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Strong written communication, research, and organizational skills

  • Experience managing compliance filings across multiple states or jurisdictions

  • Knowledge of the M&A lifecycle, including integration post-close
