Job Title: Project Manager – Fairport Expansion Equipment Acceptance (Contract through June 2026)

Location: Fairport, NY (On-site preferred/majority; some hybrid negotiable once training period is complete)

Schedule: 40 hours/week. Some flexibility to adjust to 32-40 hours/week depending on candidate's availability.

Interview Process: First Round Phone Screen, Second Round Panel Onsite Interview

Contract Duration:
• Immediate start through June 2026, with potential for extension based on project needs.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to support the final stages of equipment acceptance for Phases 3 and 4 of the Fairport Expansion. Cross-functional teams to ensure timely qualification, documentation, and turnover of new equipment and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the equipment acceptance process for all remaining installations in B60 and annex areas, including stockroom and Optical Cleaning Center (OCC) workstreams.
• Track and manage punch lists, qualification protocols, and final acceptance criteria in collaboration with engineering, operations, and quality teams.
• Maintain and update project schedules, ensuring alignment with the broader Fairport Expansion timeline and capital milestones.
• Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders (e.g., Facilities, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance).
• Support documentation and reporting for capital capitalization and closeout activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and internal quality standards throughout the acceptance process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field (preferred). Minimum Associate's degree plus relevant experience.
• 5-7+ years of experience in project management; self-starter.
• Manufacturing background, technical/optics field would be preferred; construction or other project management experience.
• Experience with equipment qualification, capital project closeout, and cross-functional coordination.
• Familiarity with cleanroom environments and precision optics manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strategizing priorities, identifying efficiencies, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
