Position Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Cashier with lottery knowledge who can multitask effectively. The ideal candidate will handle point-of-sale transactions, assist customers with prescriptions and retail purchases, and manage lottery sales accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the pharmacy register and process payments
- Sell and validate lottery tickets and manage related transactions
- Assist customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Handle phone calls and light administrative tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front area
- Support pharmacy staff with general duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous cashier experience required (pharmacy or convenience store preferred)
- Knowledge of NYS lottery sales and procedures
- Strong multitasking and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-service oriented
- Basic computer and POS system knowledge
Schedule: Full-time or part-time available
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
