Hiring 10 Junior Technicians for a 3 months project

Support is needed in all 5 boroughs - however each Technician will be assigned in one borough (estimated 4-5 techs per borough). Milage is paid at current IRS rate.

Position Summary
We are currently seeking Field Technicians in all boroughs. Field Service Technician employee providing technical support at various offices for 3 months. In this role, you will have ownership of customer problems or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customer's satisfaction and or in compliance with agreed upon Service Level Agreements.

Responsibilities
· Install, configure, and troubleshoot software issues for workstations, labs, and peripheral devices.
· Maintain and support antivirus software, wired and wireless network installations, and proprietary applications.
· Perform preventive maintenance on computer systems, including configuring network, standalone, and Client printers, as well as connecting laptops and printers to wireless infrastructures.
· Collaborate with Network Groups to identify and resolve network configurations, Network loops and hardware issues.
· Ensure adherence to current procedures, policies, and processes within the work unit.
· Re-image and install operating systems on damaged computers on-site.
· Patch Data drops as needed.
· Maintain timely and accurate updates in the ticketing system, reflecting work performed.
· Install / setup computer systems and local area networking components.
· Utilize state-of-the-art testing instruments for diagnosing hardware, network, and software issues.
· Identify and escalate vendor-related issues to the appropriate team when necessary.
· Perform reconnects on workstations, labs, printers and associated peripheral devices.

Minimum Qualifications
Qualified Candidates must have A+ Certification.

Candidates should also have AT LEAST one of the following:
§ 2 year degree in electronics or computer technology
§ High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of hands-on POS/ATM repair experience in a customer field environment
§ High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of PC repair experience in a customer field environment
