THE OPPORTUNITY AT HAND

We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Clinical Trainer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs on computer systems, including but not limited to NextGen, Clearwave, Rivet and 4PC. The trainer will ensure that Medical Receptionist and Surgical Coordination staff are proficient in using these systems to optimize billing, coding, patient check-in, and overall revenue cycle processes to deliver outstanding customer service to our patients.

OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU

  • You will educate staff on industry best practices to optimize performance and customer service
  • You will train staff on standard processes and protocols to ensure consistency and compliance
  • You will develop and teach efficient workflows tailored to ophthalmic practices
  • You will ensure all training materials are up to date with the latest system updates and healthcare regulations
  • Train staff on billing documentation and best practices
  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions and offer post training support to staff
  • Provide comprehensive training to new staff and entities on systems and workflows
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and integration into existing processes
  • Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for healthcare staff, focusing on ophthalmic practices and manage the training calendar
  • Ensure timely communication and scheduling of training events
  • Collaborate with business leaders to research, develop, and maintain manuals and documentation of procedures, training programs, and support materials
  • Continuously improve and maintain abstraction workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Track enrollment and attendance in training classes to ensure optimal participation and engagement

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
  • You have 3+ years of experience in systems training, preferably with NextGen and Clearwave
  • You have strong knowledge of NextGen and Clearwave RCM systems
  • You have thorough knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-9 coding, and government and other third-party payor requirements and policies, with an emphasis in ophthalmology
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills and are able to easily create engaging and effective training materials
  • You are proficient in e-learning platforms and virtual training tools
  • You aren’t just detail oriented – You’re meticulous when it comes to training content and delivery
  • You’re adaptable, supportive and approachable, and can tailor your style to your audience
