Position Title: CNC Operator

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct hire opportunity for CNC Operator with our client in Plainview, NY.

Job Responsibilities:

• Verify components are produced to print (dimensional and visual inspection)
• Change tools.
• Make offsets.
• Load material and remove scrap.
• Fill out various paperwork.
• Simultaneous operation of multiple machines
• Minor troubleshooting/problem solving
• Part inspection

Job Qualifications:

• 2/4 years’ experience with lathe/mill turning machines.
• Strong experience of CNC machining and Fanuc control
• Experience with running Swiss sliding head stock lathe (Citizen, Tornos, Star, Tsugami)
• Experience in Medical device manufacturing industry.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Working knowledge of various materials & tools (inserts, endmills, drills Etc.)
• Using variety of measurement instruments.
• Ability to read and write English.
