Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist position is available within a K-12 educational setting in Syracuse, NY. This role offers contract opportunities through the end of the current school year, with potential openings for summer session and the 2025-2026 school year.
Qualifications:
- Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist License
- New York Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Certification
- Suitable credentials including SLP-CCC, Pediatrics, CFY, or School-based experience
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language evaluations, interventions, and support to students across K-12 grades
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational and licensing standards
- Participating actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development sessions
