We are seeking a reliable and experienced Hotel Maintenance Associate to handle general maintenance, repairs, and preventative upkeep throughout the property. The ideal candidate will be skilled in multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC basics, carpentry, and general repairs, ensuring the hotel remains safe, functional, and guest-ready at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance for guest rooms, common areas, and exterior of the hotel
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues (leaks, toilets, sinks, water heaters, etc.)
- Handle basic electrical work (lighting, outlets, switches, breakers—no high-voltage work)
- Perform minor HVAC repairs and filter replacements
- Repair drywall, doors, locks, furniture, flooring, and fixtures
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and guest complaints
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from front desk and management
- Assist with room turns, inspections, and renovation projects as needed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance inventory
- Follow safety procedures and hotel standards at all times
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous hotel or commercial maintenance experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix issues independently
- Basic HVAC knowledge a plus
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors
Schedule & Availability
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call availability if needed
- Ability to respond to maintenance emergencies
