Responsibilities
- Corroborate patient's clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for the licensed practitioners' use
- Prepare patient for procedure providing instruction and education
- Select and operate magnetic resonance system and related equipment
- Maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics
- Recognize essential conditions for successful completion of procedure
- Provide appropriate patient care
- Other responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability to perform the essential functions:
- Minimum of graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
- Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited program in medical imaging or equivalent
- Current unrestricted NYS License
- Additional education in sectional human anatomy a plus
- Experience in medical imaging
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Other information:
- Ability to travel to other OrthoNY locations. Reliable transportation is essential
- Pay is based on years of experience
Per Diem - hours vary depending on staffing and needs
