Position: Roof Assistant Manager
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Reports to: Roof Installation Manager
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (some evenings/weekends) 8am- 6pm NonExempt

Brooklyn SolarWorks is actively seeking motivated and passionate individual to join the Installation team at our Brooklyn office. As the Roof Assistant Manager, the individual will assist the Roof Installation Manager in all aspects of team function. They will work alongside Roof crews, installing on a daily.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with and enforce OSHA safety rules.
- Support Installation Manager in all aspects of job preparation and execution.
- Review upcoming jobs, including plans, photos, and other logistics.
- Coordinate with Managers and Procurement regarding any special situations or equipment.
- Calls out specialty electrical equipment for upcoming projects.
- Communicate plans and preparation effectively with relevant personnel.
- Responsible for Crew Lead responsibilities when serving as crew lead, including but not limited to:
- Make sure that vehicles are appropriately packed out in the morning.
- Ensure that all installations are conducted according to plan.
- Complete and process all reports in a timely manner.
- Upload all photos after the completion of each job/installation in a timely manner.
- Assess each job site; ensuring that all materials have been retrieved and the condition of the site is clean and complete.
- Carry out additional tasks as required by Roof installation manager/ VP.
Required Skill Set:
- High School Diploma is required.
- Ability to lead a team of 3-6.
- Strong communication / customer relation skills.
- Demonstrates continued expansion of knowledge base in the industry.
- Strong tech and administrative skills.
- OSHA 40 is required.
- Valid NYS Driver’s license.
- A clean driving record is required.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to lead a team of 3-6 people.
- Thorough knowledge of BSW (solar) systems.
- Thorough knowledge of all materials used in roof portion of installations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, build relationships and network.
- A positive attitude and ability to keep moving forward.
- Required to walk, climb stairs and ladders, and stand for long periods of time.
- Comfortability with heights.

Pay: $34-40/hr
