We are looking to hire a Forklift Team Lead For a Green Products Recovery Company with operations across the United States.
Location: Bronx, NY
Role: Team Lead
Pay: $18 - $20.00/hr
Schedule: Monday to Friday
First Shift: 3pm to 11pm until completion
Key Notes:
Forklift Required
Bilingual preferred
Box truck Experience is a Plus
Light data entry skills for daily reports
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage employee performance through coaching, training, motivation, and maintaining employee files
- Conduct interviews, train new hires on site-specific and role-specific duties, and demonstrate safe equipment operations and work procedures
- Enforce regulations related to safety, sanitation, housekeeping, and compliance with landlord and regulatory requirements
- Direct and coordinate production staff activities, resolve worker problems, and ensure proper staffing of all productive areas
- Handle light administrative and technical tasks, and oversee shipping and receiving operations
- Coordinate commodity shipments, manage ongoing facility destruction, and ensure quality control
- Prepare and send daily reports, including inbound/outbound logs, labor reports, physical inventory, and compliance checklists.
- Manage payroll controls and work hours, adhering to schedules and addressing employee time discrepancies
- Inspect materials, products, and equipment for defects or malfunctions, with a focus on aluminum bale quality
- Plan work schedules, production sequences, and interpret technical documents and company policies
- Maintain consistent operations data, recommend personnel actions, and set up and adjust machines and equipment
- Optimize resource management by minimizing overtime, ensuring staff morale and attendance consistency
